dc.description.abstract The main object of this report is to describe and illustrate a fairly simple exact method by which aerofoils and other surfaces may be constructed to have desired velocity distributions. Its subsidiary interest is as a progress report on shapes already constructed, which are described in the Appendices and Figures, but should not be regarded as the best which, after further development, the method may be capable of producing. en_US
