On possible similarity solutions for three-dimensional incompressible laminar boundary-layer flows over developable surfaces and with proportional mainstream velocity components

Requirements for the existence of similarity solutions are obtained for boundary-layer equations expressed in orthogonal coordinates. Permissible forms of mainstream velocity components, the square of differential of arc length on the surface, and the similarity parameters are found.
