The measured force characteristics and surface-pressure distributions at angles of attack from 0 to 6 degrees are presented for a series of bodies having elliptical cross sections. (The axial distributions of cross sectional area for these bodies were identical and equal to that for a parabolic-arc body of revolution having a fineness ratio of 12.) Pressure distribution for the surrounding flow fields are also presented for the various bodies at zero angle of attack.
