Lag in pressure systems at extremely low pressures

A theoretical formula for determining time lags in pressure-measuring systems at all pressures, including extremely low pressures where molecular flow occurs, is derived and shown to be accurate to within 10 percent for pressures down to approximately 0.2 millimeter of mercury (0.566 lb/sq ft) for nearly linear pressure changes.
