An investigation of the effects of atmospheric corrosion on the fatigue life of aluminum alloys

Fatigue tests were conducted on 100 vibrating cantilever sheet specimens by applying 4,000 cycles of load in a 10-minute period each working day while the specimens were subjected to atmospheric conditions over a period of several months.
