Calculations are made of the magnitude of the surface sound pressure levels that will occur on blunt-nosed vehicles during reentry into the earth's atmosphere. The results presented cover a wide range of reentrance velocities and reentrance angles into the atmosphere and sizes and weights of the vehicle.
