arbitrary materials subjected to aerodynamic heating with a discontinuous change in equilibrium temperature or heat-transfer coefficient A solution is obtained to the transient temperature distribution in a semi-infinite two-component composite slab of arbitrary materials subjected to an instantaneous application of aerodynamic heating with constant equilibrium temperature and heat-transfer coefficient. The numerical results are tabulated in a form to permit easy computation of heat-transfer problems typical of aerodynamic testing.
