An investigation was made in the Langley stability tunnel to determine the effects of the proximity of the ground and of split flaps on the lateral stability derivatives of a 60 degree delta-wing model oscillating continuously in yaw. The model was tested at ground positions between 0.30 and 1.25 mean aerodynamic chord lengths.
