An approximate linearized lifting-surface theory is used in conjunction with structural influence coefficients to formulate a method for analyzing the aeroelastic behavior in roll of an aircraft. Rolling effectiveness and aileron-reversal speed are computed by the use of a Glerkin-type procedure.
