Electrical analogies for stiffened shells with flexible rings

Structural theory and analogous electrical circuits are developed for stiffened shells with flexible rings. By assumptions, the forces that a shell (consisting of stringers and skin) and a ring can exert on each other are directed along their common line of intersection. As a consequence the shell and the rings can be treated separately.
