Internal performance characteristics of a convergent nozzle, fixed convergent-divergent nozzles, an adjustable plug-type convergent-divergent nozzle, and jet ejectors were investigated over a wide range of pressure ratios. These data are summarized to provide an over-all picture of jet-exit performance and thereby serve as an aid in selecting the most suitable jet-exit configurations for supersonic aircraft.
