A 75-millimeter-bore (size 215) cylindrical-roller inner-race-riding cage-type bearing was used in an experimental investigation of the effect of oil viscosity on bearing operating characteristics over a range of DN values (bearing bore in mm times shaft speed in rpm) from 0.3 X 10(exp 6) to 1.2 X 10(exp 6).
