Analysis of pure-bending flutter of a cantilever swept wing and its relation to bending-torsion flutter

The present analysis deals with the possibility that a sweptback wing which is considered to have infinite torsional stiffness can still flutter in bending only. the analysis is implicit in that of NACA Report 1014 that employs aerodynamic coefficients of two-dimensional incompressible and compressible flow.
