Experimental and theoretical study of the effects of body size on the aerodynamic characteristics of an aspect ratio 3.0 wing-body combination

Measurements were made at a Mach number of 0.25 of the aerodynamic characteristics of a wing having an aspect ratio of 3 combined separately with each of three geometrically similar bodies of revolution, differing only in size, having a fineness ratio of 12.5. The ratios of body diameter to wing span were 0.196, 0.259, and 0.343.
