First-order theory for unsteady motion of thin wings at supersonic speeds

An approximate method is presented for determining the pressure distribution due to unsteady motion for thin wings of fairly general plan form. The local source strength, which is proportional to the normal component of the perturbation velocity, is represented by a power series in the wing coordinates, in which the coefficients are functions of time.
