Calculated engine performance and airplane range for variety of turbine-propeller engines

An analysis was made of the performance of basic, reheat, regenerative, and regenerative-plus-reheat turbine-propeller engines. The analysis covered an over-all range of flight speeds from 200 to 500 miles per hour, altitudes from 0 to 50,000 feet, and turbine-inlet temperatures from 2000 to 3000 degrees R for a range of compressor pressure ratios from 6 to 42.
