Lift force of an arrow-shaped wing

The lift at supersonic speeds of a thin delta wing (a) extending outside the tip Mach cone and (b) contained within the tip Mach cone is obtained. By use of Busemann's conical flow transformations, the problem is reduced to the solution of the Laplace equation within the Mach cone. Conformal-mapping methods are used.
