Boundary-layer momentum equations for three-dimensional flow

Boundary-layer momentum equations for the three-dimensional flow of a fluid with variable density and viscosity are presented in a form similar to the momentum equation for two-dimensional flow. The momentum equations can be reduced to the forms of the three-dimensional momentum equations that have been given recently by Prandtl for a fluid with constant density and viscosity.
